How to Install GTA 5 Add-On Peds Mod

Follow these steps to install the mod safely:

Requirements

  • Latest version of OpenIV
  • Latest ScriptHook and ScriptHookVDotNet
  • NativeUI

Installation Steps (Using Mods Folder Method):

  1. Copy PedSelector.dll to your GTA V scripts folder (YOUR GTAV FOLDER\scripts\).
  2. Copy the addonpeds folder to YOUR GTA V MODS FOLDER\update\x64\dlcpacks\.
  3. Open OpenIV, enable Edit Mode, then go to mods\update\update.rpf\common\data.
  4. Extract dlclist.xml and open it with a text editor. Add the line:

<Item>dlcpacks:\addonpeds\</Item>

before the </Paths> line. Save and reimport using OpenIV.

  1. Run AddonPeds Editor.exe as administrator and click REBUILD.

Hotkeys: Press L in-game to open the Ped Selector menu.

Adding Peds

  1. Ensure your ped is in the correct format (normal or streamed).
  2. Import ped files to YOUR GTA V MODS
    FOLDER\update\x64\dlcpacks\addonpeds\dlc.rpf\peds.rpf.
  3. Open AddonPeds Editor.exe → Peds → New Ped, fill the details, click Add Ped, then REBUILD. Done!

Controls

  • L – Open Ped Selector Menu
  • Always click REBUILD after adding, editing, or deleting a ped.
